A family reunion photo with everyone in matching shirts is the one people keep. The shirts also make it easy to spot your people in a crowded park. The work is in the details: the design, the sizes for everyone from toddlers to grandparents, and getting money and sizes out of a big family. Here's how to do it without the stress.

Design ideas that work

  • The classics: the family name, the year and the place, like "Miller Family Reunion 2027, Hilliard, Ohio".
  • A family tree or a crest: a simple tree with the branches' names looks great on the back.
  • A photo or an old recipe card: we print in full color, so photos and handwriting work too.
  • A name on each shirt: add each relative's first name with Personalize each shirt in the designer, or put "Grandma" and "Grandpa" on theirs.
  • A theme: a vacation, a camping trip or a sports-team look gives the whole group something to play with.

Give each branch of the family a color

The same design printed on four shirt colors, one for each branch of the family

Print the same design on a different shirt color for each branch of the family. The group photo shows who belongs to which branch, and you still get one design to approve. Mixed colors, sizes and styles can all go in one order, and the print discount counts every shirt that has the same design.

How many shirts to order

  • Count everyone who will attend, including babies and kids, then add a few extras (about 5%-10%) for late RSVPs and growth spurts.
  • Adding shirts later is a separate print run, so it's easier to order the extras at the start.
  • The more you order, the less each print costs: 10% off at 12 pieces, 15% at 24, 20% at 48 and 25% at 100 or more.

Sizes for every age

Youth, toddler and infant sizes are available on many styles, such as Gildan 5000B (youth), Bella + Canvas 3001T (toddler) and 3001B (infant). For the adults, our guide to picking sizes for a group order has a typical split you can start from.

Let everyone choose their own size

The easiest way is a team order link. Send it to the family chat and each person picks their own size (and their name, if you add names) and pays for their own shirt. Or let relatives just sign up with their sizes, and you check out once for everyone. You choose the date the link closes, so you don't have to chase anyone.

A simple timeline

  1. Four weeks before: pick the design and open the sign-up link.
  2. Two weeks before: the link closes and you place the order.
  3. Within 2 business days: we print. Add priority processing ($25 per design) if you're short on time.
  4. A few days before: pick up free at our shop in Hilliard (Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 5:30 PM) or have it shipped; shipping is free over $100.
